FARAH STREETS AHEAD WITH BUS ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS
Farah, Great Britain’s best selling manufacturing trouser brand, is about to launch the brand’s third major bus advertising campaign, again marking the largest advertising campaign in its history. Farah is hoping to top the success of the campaigns run during the last year with even more buses promoting the brand across the UK and Ireland.
The campaign will commence in the latter part of August and will support the launch of the three new Farah ranges: the expanded Farah Core, the completely reviewed Farah Weekend and the new Farah Premium Tailoring collection.
The campaign size has been increased by more than 50% versus last year. It will be featured on almost 1250 buses in cities including London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Belfast and Dublin covering all major routes.
The campaign is expected to provide Farah’s valued retail stockists with essential support during the autumn launch period. It is also believed to further boost Farah’s already impressive increases in sales.

New FarahFlex Trouser Gives More Comfort
Our FarahFlex trousers provide the ultimate in comfort by giving the consumer the benefits of a self-adjusting waistband in combination with an included self-adjusting belt.
The garment and the belt are capable of comfortably giving you an additional 3 to 4 inches of extra waist circumference automatically whenever you may need it. This does not only mean extra comfort in day to day use, but also that if you should grow in waist size in the course of a year your trousers will not immediately need replacement.
The FarahFlex trousers are being delivered during our March advertising campaign for the first time with deliveries going into Littlewoods, Roys or Wroxham, Grattans, Kays, GUS and our more than 100 concession stores.
Further stores will be stocking this product from Autumn 2004 onwards.
Products like these emphasise our dedication to not only providing the quality and fit that our customers are used to, but also to couple that with the types of performance that give the you benefits that will make the experience of owning and caring for a Farah product easier and more pleasant.

Farah Launches ANTISTAIN finish
The ANTISTAIN trousers have been delivered in retail for the first time this month to Fenwicks and almost 50 independent retailers in the UK and Ireland.
Our ANTISTAIN finish was developed for use on trousers and jackets (only used on trousers for the moment). Its functionality includes stain, oil and liquid repellence as well as soil release properties.
It is different from other products in the market in that it is extremely durable and in that its actual performance in the course of a garments lifetime exceeds the performance of other popular stain repellence products.
ANTISTAIN still has the same performance levels after 100 washes at 50 Celsius as it has at the beginning of its life. This can be compared to other popular finishes, which lose a significant part of their performance after 20 washes at 40 Celsius.
Tests carried out after 100 washes include attempts to stain the fabric with ketchup, vimto, mustard and oil.
The performance given has obvious advantages when drinks, food, grease and oil are split and when other day to day spills occur. This further enhances our garments, and provides the ultimate in easy care.
ANTISTAIN has also been applied to 4 of our core range products for the autumn 2004 season, so look out for them at a retailer near you!
